With the River Waveney encircling Bungay there are two main fishing areas, Outney Common and Falcon Meadow.
Outney Common
This is a day ticket water – Visitors must purchase a day ticket before starting to fish. The nearest outlet for day tickets is Outney Meadow Caravan Park, NR35 1HG. Telephone 01986 892338.
Fishing in the Common Pond is through the Bungay Cherry Tree Fishing Club.
Falcon Meadow
Falcon Meadow is managed for the community by the Falcon Meadow Community Trust. Fishing is free here but it would be a courtesy to check with the Trust before fishing here.
