Pete the Baker has a market stall every Thursday morning at the Butter Cross in Bungay. He is an artisan baker baking a variety of sourdough and yeasted breads. Most of is flour is sourced at Hodmedod (https://hodmedods.co.uk ) so it is usually organic, often local and always tasty.

As well as a selection of bread there is usually a special or two with olive focaccia, fougasse, parkin and Chelsea buns all making a regular appearance. There will always be something savoury and something sweet to delight your palette. He understands the fascination about sourdough bread and is always happy to provide a starter if you want to make your own. Did I mention he also making ropey videos in which he sings about his bread!
