Cross the road and pass down the charming Turnpike Lane into Upper Olland Street.
Turn left, cross the road passed several shops, including Olland Street Bookshop – rammed with secondhand books, to Emmanuel Church (a ‘green’ church).
Walk down the side of the church into Boyscott Lane and past the church’s Community Rooms.
Take the right hand path down an alleyway to reach Quaves Lane where you turn right.
At the top of Quaves Lane (from where Quaves Lane Patisserie takes its name) turn left into St. Mary’s Street. Opposite The Burrow, is St.Edmund’s Church.
Pass through a gate in the old Boston Ivy clad stone wall.
Turn right out of St. Edmund’s to reach the adjoining St. Mary’s Church Walk through one of the paths from St. Mary’s to reach Trinity Street.
Turn right to reach Holy Trinity Church.
Follow the road round and bear right to reach the car
