Kay Ohsten: Norfolk Scene @The Fisher Theatre Upper Gallery

May 8 - July 7

Kay Ohsten 1935-2003

Born in Norwich, but living most of her life in Pulham St Mary, Kay Ohsten was a much loved and deeply respected graphic artist on the Norwich artistic scene. She studied and taught at Norwich Art School, was a long-time member of the prestigious Norwich 20 Group and also artist in residence for the Castle Mall construction some 30 years ago.

This vivid show, drawing on her family’s rich archives of watercolours, screenprints and mixed media pieces, reveals the full breadth and versatility of Kay’s work, with subjects ranging from architecture (including Bungay!), the local landscape, animals, flowers and figures. All works are for sale.

Entry to the exhibition is free and the Gallery can be viewed 6pm-10pm Wednesdays to Saturdays or by appointment (by contacting the Fisher) Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10am – 3pm.

The exhibition runs 8th May – 7th July
