SUMMARY:Black Shuck Festival Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Black Shuck Festival is an important part of the Bungay events calendar and this year it is holding a fundraiser at the Fisher Theatre on March 18th to help cover the storage costs for all the fabulous costumes and props the festival now has. \nLive performances from festival favourites Roger Eno\, Polly Wright (of The Feathered Thorns) and piano virtuoso William Fergusson will be followed by film footage of previous Black Shuck festivals and old local festivals such as the Albion Festival and Barsham Fayre. \nAt the end of the evening the raffle will be drawn.  There are some fabulous prizes: vouchers for a Secret Sauna\, a Pink Tiffin delivery\, Earsham Street Cafe\, The Old Bank Tearooms\, the Green Dragon and Bigod’s kitchen.  And lots of Bungay goodies in a hamper from Flint Vineyard\, Fen Farm\, Earsham Street Deli\, and more! \nRaffle tickets may be purchased in advance from Fisher Theatre\, FuzzypegFolk\, Crocks and the Green Dragon\, and on the night. \nA taster of things to come from the Black Shuck Festival! \n \nTickets £15 from the Fisher Theatre.

DESCRIPTION:Join Bungay Folk Festival for a 2026 fund raising event with Scarborough’s hot export – The Blow-ins! The Blow-ins make gentle acoustic music with Celtic harp\, guitar and voices. Based in Scarborough\, they have played together since they met in 2012. They’re known for original\, high- quality folk music which has been enjoyed in folk clubs\, festivals\, concerts and on local radio. In 2024 they won the coveted Songwriting award at the Great North Folk Festival with their song ‘The Hounds of Heaven’. From mesmerizing instrumental duets to full-blown chorus songs\, a musical journey with the Blow-ins will take you from ancient legends to contemporary protest with quiet humour and powerful emotion.
