Bygone Bungay – An exhibition remembering the much – loved people & places of Bungay.

The friends of St. Mary’s Church are staging an exhibition celebrating some of Bungay’s much – loved places & people.
Visitors are invited to view a carefully curated selection of images, sketches & writings that will stir and reignite the memories of the characters and buildings that once formed part of the important heritage of our fine town.
Admission is free to visit the exhibition, but donations are encouraged to allow for future projects.
14th – 20th October 10am – 4pm.

‘The Lost Pubs of Bungay’ – Saturday 14th October @ 2pm
A walk starting at the church then moving around the sites of Bungay’s old pubs – finishing with a visit to the Green Dragon Brewery & Pub.
£5/ person – Not including beer at the Dragon!
‘Toy’s & Books of my childhood’ – Sunday 15th October @ 4.15pm
A talk by local historian, Chris Reeve, followed by afternoon tea.
