The Open Gardens day held on 27th June was a great success. 25 gardens were opened to visitors and the organising team – led by Toto Martinez – raised an as yet unknown sum for the Falcon Meadow and Bungay Library.
Armed with a very attractive map of the location of all the gardens, visitors did their best to view as many as they could. As one of the gardens visited, I speak for everyone when I say – it was a very enjoyable day with a steady stream of people coming through the gate from the minute we opened to the minute we closed. With lots of lovely people telling us how us how much they admired our gardens – what’s not to like? Two days next year please!
