A team led by the Town Council had planned an extensive range of events over the VE day bank holiday weekend in May which of course have had to be postponed due to the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

However, the planned fly-past of a WW11 Hurricane IS going ahead.  At 11.25am on Sunday 10th May the Hurricane will perform a fly-past over St. Mary’s Church including, hopefully, three low passes over the church.

If current (as at 24/3/20) restrictions are still in place by 10th May people are urged not to congregate to watch the fly-past but we can all stand in our gardens and wave!
