The Friends of all hallows HOSPITAL

The Friends of All Hallows Hospital are having an Auction of Promises and Collectables on Saurday 13th May at Ditchingham Village Hall. Doors will open at 6.30pm for viewing and the auction will start at 7.30pm.

Some of the lots include a visit for 2 people to the Electric Picture Palace Southwold which includes transport both ways and icecream, Afternoon Tea for 2 at The Assembly House, Norwich, a gold necklace, a model steam engine, a Carmen glass bowl, fresh flower arrangement for 4 weeks and so much more. St Peters Brewery will provide a bar and there will be light refreshments. If anyone has an item that you would like to donate for the auction please contact Pauline Evans on 01986 893563 or Pat Blakeburn on 01986 892493.

The community hospital at Ditchingham does exceptional work and the Friends over the past year have bought a new meals on wheels van to help with the 17,000 that are delivered each month, have paid for a nurse to go on a palliative care end of life course (that nurse can then teach others) and 2 Argao`shower chairs that involved no manual lifting, it works electrically, can lay flat for showering, can move patients from the shower bed into a bath. You can see that the Friends give vital help and support and we are holding the auction so that All Hallows Healthcare Trust can continue its specialist work with extremely ill patients.
